Monday Morning Fit Tip:

Stressed?  Work it out!

People who effectively manage stress cite working out as their #1 stress-fighting weapon.  Top activities include a trip to the gym, going for a power walk, running and yoga.  During exercise you are able to think through your problems and evaluate different solutions while removed from the actual situation.  Some studies have shown that this post-workout calm can last up to two whole days!
While this may seem obvious, it’s very easy to fall into a rut and quickly become overwhelmed by stress and ignore your workouts.  So next time you’re stressed, take a deep breath and head to the gym – for physical and mental benefits!
