KNOW YOUR BREAST CANCER RISK

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this week’s fit tip focuses on what YOU CAN DO for your breast health:

 

1. KNOW YOUR RISK
Research your family history & discuss it with your doctor.

2. GET SCREENED
Johns Hopkins Medical Center states, “40% of diagnosed breast cancers are detected by women who feel a lump, so establishing a regular breast self-exam is very important.”  Create your early detection plan hereand receive text or email reminders!

3. KNOW WHAT IS NORMAL FOR YOU
and report any changes to your doctor.

4. MAKE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHOICES
such as maintaining a healthy weight, exercising, and limiting alcohol intake.
