You’ve been at Victory over 25 years!  Tell us what it was like getting started…

KimBack then certifications weren’t required.  I was 19 years old, and my training was 1 week of brutal & crazy fitness.  I lived on a 2nd floor apartment with the steps outside the building. I was so sore that I had to go down the steps by scooting down on my rear one step at a time – in front of everyone driving by!

Now I’m happy to say that I’m certified by three national companies.  I actually enjoy being a little sore the next day – and I know it’s safe because I’m in it for the long haul!

How do you stay motivated?

Group Fitness Classes!
Many of my morning ladies (pictured above) have been working out with me since the very beginning!  Classes make my workout feel like a party – time flies, and before I know it, we’re done.  I love my ladies!

You’re also a huge Buckeye fan.  What’s your favorite tailgate recipe?

Zucchini cooked on the grill!
It’s quick and easy – and delicious!  Slice your zucchini into long strips, or into little chips.  I like to season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese, then drizzle with olive oil.  Cook on foil over the grill.  Enjoy with marinara sauce for an extra treat!
