Monday Motivation:
FREE WEIGHTS ARE YOUR FRIEND!

freeweights

  • FUNCTIONAL FITNESS.  Free weights allow you to improve your strength, balance, and coordination while moving with a full range of motion.  This helps you train for real-life movements!
  • FIX MUSCLE IMBALANCES – when lifting 2 separate weights, the dominant side can’t assist the weaker side.
  • HEALTHIER JOINTS:  Getting stronger gives your joints more support!  Weight lifting can even be an effective treatment for osteoarthritis, both in terms of reducing pain and improving function (of course you should check with your doctor first).

WHERE DO YOU START?

Join a class that incorporates the use of free weights, such as an Aqua Toning class, Zumba + Toning, HIIT & Sculpting or Ripped!

Or try Rx Warrior Boot Camp at Fitness on a Mission!
