Nutrition and fitness experts all agree that flat abs are made possible with the combination of good posture, the right exercises, and a healthy diet.  Here’s how you can get you started:


  1. Good posture: Stand tall, don’t slouch. By bringing your shoulders back and chest up, the abs pull themselves in. Yoga and Pilates classes are great for improving your posture.
  2. Exercise: You need a mixture of cardio exercises to burn belly fat and strength training to tone those abdominal muscles. Plank is one great core-strengthening move.
  3. Healthy Eating: Avoid high-sodium pre-packaged foods, sugary snacks and be sure to drink lots of water! Just one healthier choice at each meal can really make a difference! Do you feel like “healthy foods” are too expensive? Check this out!
